Surprisingly good story. I never expect much from tie-in books of TV shows. These are made to order stories and let's face it, fan stories are usually much, much better than tie-in books. However, Mariotte came up with an interesting plot, town is cursed, bodies pile up, Winchester brothers right smack in the middle of the action. Secondary characters were not paper thin and Sam and Dean were, well, Sam and Dean. Not a masterpiece but a good, solid story. I don't really ask much more from tie-in books
