More 3 1/2 stars. This is a guide to roam around Paris on the trace of the writers, artists and poets of the first half of the 20th century that lived, created and died in Paris. The itineraries are very very imprecise. I have no idea if in real life they would work but has a way to introduce the players of the period, the events, the places where they all hanged out, drank, loved and some died it works. We trail Hemingway, Joyce, Pound in the years after WW1, we follow Picasso, Apollinaire and their friends around Montmartre before WW1. We walk along Aragon, Malraux, Breton and the French in the 1930's and the WW2 years, Paris during the occupation. It's a fascinating way to walk through that part of the century.
