They respect each other .. they do not fall in love at first sight unlike the one I'm reading now. grrrr... it's only has kisses and a hero that is not a rapist, isn't macho, etc.. but not a bland hero either. I liked it. Not oh my god it's soooo good but really a nice story, characters you like and don't make you roll your eyes. That's rare.
