More like 2 1/2 stars. This third novel of the Russell Quant mysteries takes Russell out of Saskatoon and on a cruise with the family of a client who is the target of attempted murders. Very light, fluffy, kinda of out of character for the series. The plot relies on a lot of clichés, coincidences and the reveal of the culprit is anti-climatic and a bit confused. The book ends on a somewhat cliffhanger that as a reader I didn't find necessary. It could have easily opened the next book. Bidulka is more at ease with what he knows. Taking his lead characters out of his "habitat" didn't have the depth or the drive of the first two books. Who knew Saskatoon was more exotic than Barcelona.
