Another average novel. The supernatural story is okay but much too long. The characters are not fully developed and the two leads are not people I liked. So we have Sam, the newest member of an investigating team of paranormal things. They are looking into an haunted house. Sam wants to fit in and founds himself falling for his boss, who is sending mixed signals. I didn't buy the "I'm straight, I don't know what you mean, I'm married with two children but I'm giving you the look" character of Bo Broussard. That character wasn't interesting and I was rooting for Sam to "get over him". I have the next two novels in that series. I hope they get better.
