L'Iliade (French Edition)

The Iliad - Homer, Leconte de Lisle Reread. Still as good as I remembered. Read it years ago in my mid teens because I was so into Greek Mythology and I just wanted to read the story about Odysseus, Achilles, Hector, Aeneas. You need a good translation and want to read epic poetry if you want to enjoy it. I found little things I didn't know or remembered. Reading it along side a non fiction on the Trojan war and Marion Zimmer Bradley's Firebrand just made the text look and sound even better.
