Lord Peter : The Complete Lord Peter Wimsey Stories

Lord Peter - Dorothy L. Sayers This compilation of the short stories Sayers wrote throughout the years starring Lord Peter is fun, witty, varied and fabulous. Not one bad story in the lot. Yes some have a more thief/murderer to catch feel but most of them are delightful and give an insight to the character of Lord Peter in many different points in his life. I adored "The Learned Adventure of the Dragon's Head", found "The Undignified Melodrama of the Bone of Contention" amusing and fun; all of them have something different to offer. The last two short stories are set after Harriet comes into Lord Peter's life, it gave me a hint of what's to come in the future books I still have to read. Tall Boys the last one features Lord Peter, his older son Bredon and how very much alike they are. I just loved this compilation. I took my time reading it because I wanted it to last forever and have another story to read.
