The Cat Who Played Brahms

The Cat Who Played Brahms - Lilian Jackson Braun There are many things to like in this one. We get introduced to Pickax, to Mooseville, the whole panoply of quirky characters of this very weird county somewhere 400 miles north of nowhere. There are many things to dislike about this novel to. The plot is all over the place, Braun introduces plot devices only to burn them for no reason at all. Qwill is definitely a privilege white male with all that implies. Sometimes you can not go back and enjoy something you've loved many years ago. You are not the same person and sometimes what you try to recapture isn't there anymore.
