Book Lust To Go: Recommended Reading for Travelers, Vagabonds, and Dreamers

Book Lust To Go: Recommended Reading for Travelers, Vagabonds, and Dreamers - Nancy Pearl Another wonderful, wonderful recommended books from well known librarian Nancy Pearl. This time she dives into books to travel to far away places, exotics locales or just in your back yards destinations. There are plenty of titles to discover even for librarian me. I have a list of about 10 authors to check out and that's just the start. Her books are the only ones I read with an highlighter and reread with a pencil to write down impressions and notes. Two tiny things: the geographical index and books index are too small to be of any use. The maps are just outlines of continents with numbers. The books index, the typography is so small it's barely usable. It's better to either browse the recommendations as you feel like, the subjects or countries are in alphabetical order.
