Interesting, yet, I didn't really get into the story until way past the midway point. I found the whole journey to the temple kinda boring. It does set the bases for a fascinating universe that I'm curious to see how it turns out. I liked the reveal at the end but wasn't really surprised. It's a good young adult adventure fantasy novel but I kinda was left wanting more show, less tell.
