A strong, funny, interesting opening bow to a series I will definitely read more of. Alexia is a strong, amazing leading lady. I like the mythology Gail Carriger establishes in her universe. Her vampires are not uninteresting, more like undercover dandies (which fits in this Victorian era). I'm looking forward to the reading the next one.
