Gli arancini di Montalbano

Gli arancini di Montalbano - Andrea Camilleri La démission de Montalbano by Andrea Camilleri. Second novel of short stories in Andrea Camilleri's Montalbano universe. Unlike the first one, all the short stories are set in Vigata and have Montalbano as he always is, the highly intuitive but moody commissario, who loves to eat alone and loves to solve mysteries. In this anthology we have the full scope of Montalbano's talent from solving a case of smugglers, murderers and adultery. The best one is the one titled "Catarella solve a case" it's just wonderful. Catarella being my favorite character after Montalbano. The poor man, who answers the phone, deals with computers and the bad moods of his boss, finally gets to shine and catch a bad guy with his own particular kind of logic. A wonderful way to enter Camileri's Sicilian world.
