This wasn't bad. I am actually happily surprised I liked it that much. The first person narrative is in your face and not subtle at all and either it got better or I got used to the tone in the end. I guess I like early Kinsey. She's interesting, not a Mary Sue, has flaws and gets things wrong like every one of us. The plot is pretty simple but not simplistic. I didn't remember who was behind it all but I kinda guessed half way through. It didn't make the plot less interesting, I wanted to know how it was done in the end. So I guess I will reread the second eventually since I got it already in my Kindle. A solid 3.5 stars.
