Lord of Scoundrels

Lord of Scoundrels - Loretta Chase 3.5 stars rounded out to 4 stars. Mostly because the lead characters, Jessica and Sebastian are smart, strong, funny and mesh so well together even when the plot is a tad ridiculous. I enjoyed reading this 'couple' journey to being 'together' and still be themselves. Jessica is the level headed one while Sebastian, the titled Lord of Scoundrels is emo and well... quite the girl frankly of the tale (dark, angsty childhood included). It's a fun romp. It doesn't revolutionize Regency romance novels but it's quite a bit better than most of the romance novels in that genre. Loretta Chase knows how to write an entertaining tale of woe, misunderstanding and romance all wrapped up in two very strong characters that you like and cheer for.
