There was good things in this Holiday romance and some really bad things in this Holiday romance. I liked both characters Sarah/Sally and Travis. I liked the way they communicated, how they went about 'falling' into a relationship but man, the sex scenes were... well.. not purple because it was purple prose but ... well.. uncomfortable. The author didn't use classic euphemisms like 'throbbing member' she used the right words but the way the scenes were structured... uncomfortable and boring. Two things I do not want in sex scenes. The whole writer persona for Sarah/Sally is well done and the single father extraordinaire is also well done. The plot is clichés, on top of clichés but sometimes I give that a pass when the writing is good. Here the writing is adequate, clinical. Not an author or a series I will revisit.
