More like 2 1/2 stars but I rounded it up. Funny and snarky. I liked both leads until almost the end where the plot disintegrate into bad cliché. But up until when Alex becomes Pod Alex it was good. Boy wants girl, girl wants boy but both think neither of them wants the other. In a nutshell that's the plot. The B plot about girl's best friend writing a tell all sex memories book could have been cut out. I would have like to read more about Alex's wacky family and Nina's family too. Of course, the glue of this tiny plot is Fred, the depressed pound dog, Nina adopts at the beginning who is one smart cookie. This is not brain surgery reading but it was the right reading medicine after a long, long day at uni.
