Point Blank (Alex Rider Adventure)

Point Blank - Anthony Horowitz More like 3 1/2 stars. This book picks up right where the last one ended and takes the action up a notch. Alex is again forced to investigate a private school for boys in France where he finds himself abandoned by Blunt and Jones. The creepy factor of the special branch of MI-6 is also taken up a notch. I liked it a lot. It's a good mix of spy clichés (the bad guy telling his plan to the hero) but made to fit our teenage hero. I have a few problems with women characters in this series, set in a negative light or they are just there for show (I'm thinking Jack here), the only positive female character I've seen so far that matters maybe was Alex's teacher. Other than that it's a good series so far.
