Twilight Sleep

Twilight Sleep - Edith Wharton, Laura Duffy, Brooke Zimmer How much did I like this book. So much. It was like eating something really, really good with no after taste what so ever. I loved the social satire and it was so just right on and even if written in 1927, it's so relevant for our own era. Gourous, drugs, this "mal de vivre", the "I have to be active and have every minute of every day planned" syndrome. It's an amazing book. Betrayal, love, family, spleen. You get it all.
