The Soldier (Harlequin Blaze)

The Soldier (Uniformly Hot, #7) - Rhonda Nelson Interesting because it's mostly from Adam point of view and it's not the usual man hear me roar point of view. Winnie is also a bit atypical because she is definitely not the damsel in distress. So Adam lost part of his leg in Iraq, he is home recuperating after almost a year of surgery, getting used to his new leg and is getting ready to return to duty. This is the story of two friends who love each other enough to not let go. Yes, it's a bit teary, a bit cliché but it was unusual enough for me to enjoy.
