la france romaine

La France romaine - Gavin's Clemente Ruiz I read this mostly for the incredible pictures of the existing architecture that remains of the Roman period in Gaul. It's mostly for part of the story I'm working on. It's clear, concise and gives a good overview of the three regions of Gaul that were 'occupied' in what is now France and the region up north in what is now Belgium. It gives the reader a glimpse of what is and what was. I took lots of notes. It was quite helpful.
