I wanted to like this a lot more than I did. But the sense of 'look I'm inside the 'in crowd', the name dropping, the 'hip' factor of the whole project annoyed me to no end. The information is there but under layers upon layers of gossip, 'm'as-tu vu' digressions and a gloss of 'I'm with the band' type of writing. I forced myself to finish it. 3 stars for the information, barely 1 1/2 star for style and tone. The tone was annoying to power of ten. That in the end put me off the book.
